Frequently asked questions

Are some flowers only available during some months of the year?

Yes, we are at the mercy of Mother Nature and wether conditions have a significant impact on the availability of flowers. For example, Peonies are only available in mid spring – most often in November. The specific availably often changes from year to year and sometimes we can source them in May. If your favourite flower is not available  let us suggest another option.

Rather than a specific flower we like to work with colour and then see what is blooming a few days before your wedding, we often come across a perfect stem which ties the aesthetic together when we select your flowers. We also like to see your outfits to make sure the flowers compliment youIO also like to get to know you both so that w can create a unique design which reflects you rather than just another wedding your guests have seen. 


How far in advance do I need to book?

We suggest a minimum of 6 – 12 months but we can work within a shorter time frame. We recommend paying your 20% deposit as early as possible to secure your date.


How do I book your services for my wedding?

The first step is to submit an online inquiry using out wedding consultation form.

From there we will send you an online questionnaire as the first phase of our consultation process. 


How much should I budget for my wedding flowers?

Let's talk budget - planning a wedding can be overwhelming. It can be especially intimidating when you have no idea how much everything costs and pricing isn't always transparent. We try to be upfront about costs and help you with your budget where we can. We have no hidden costs such as delivery, set  up and bump out as this is always factored in. Think of our team as your full day stylists  because "just drop and run" isn't what we do. We will be there to deliver, set up and bump out so that you can enjoy your day stress free. 

    To make sure that you're on the same page from the get go, and to avoid disappointment, we'd recommend being upfront with what you would prefer to spend or if you're just not sure yet, let us help. We have lots of experience and ideas to make your vision and budget work. 

     

    Do you offer hire items?

    We do offer a range of hire items – arbours, vases, easels, candleholders, silk flowers, dried and preserved flowers. We are adding to our list all the time. During your consultation process and design brief we will let you know the options we have available.

    Do I need a theme or vision for my day?

    No not all all.

    We do suggest that you do a little research about the designs you may like. 

    Pinterest is a wonderful resource tool and you can make a board to shre with us so that we can see what you love. Please remember that often flowers on Pinterest might not be avail be in our part of the world.

    Everyones tastes are different and there are so many options. You don’t need to have thought through every detail. We’ve managed many weddings and know our local suppliers incredibly well. Let us help you and make suggestions.  We love weddings and we love flowers!


    Is there a minimum budget or spend?

    We are super excited to work with our couples regardless of their budget. We have no minimum spend and are always happy to provide suggestions on where the money is best spent, where to get ‘the most bang for your buck’ at your venue and how to make the greatest impact on the day.

    Where are you located and do you travel?

    Our design team and studio is located a short drive from Mudgee. 

    We coordinate flowers for couples getting married all across the mid western region and are happy to travel further by request. 


    Will you deliver my flowers on the day?

    Absolutely, we’ll deliver all your flowers personally. Full service includes delivery to 2 venues and customisation on the day where required.


    I live interstate/ overseas. Is that a problem?

    No - not at all. We manage all of our communication online. If you’re overseas we can easily coordinate over Zoom or email.

    Can you help me personalise my wedding by incorporating an item that has special meaning to my partner and I?

    Where do you get your flowers?

    We are lucky to have amazing local growers in our Mudgee region and established relationships with our suppliers. We aim to provide you with the highest quality sustainable blooms possible.

    Can you copy a design I have seen?

    We believe that everyone deserves their own design. We do not copy other florist work. We will create a beautiful original design for you.


    What do you do with the flowers from my event?

    You can choose to add a flower wrapping station to your quote. A team member will arrive an hour before you event finishes and wrap your flowers up for guests to take home. 

    Flowers left over from any event are disturbed to our local nursing home for the residents to enjoy. Any damaged flowers are composted at our studio. Our a la cate menu flowers are designed for yourself and your guest to keep.
